Here is a delightful silver tea strainer by the renowned Danish silversmithy Carl M Cohr, the largest manufacturer of silver flatware and hollowware at the time when this piece was made (see bio). The handle of the tea strainer is made of wood, encased in silver which features a foliage design as the joint to the repousse rim of the bowl. The style is Danish Art nouveau - 'Skønvirke' .
Condition: Excellent, no visible damage
Marks: Crown over 830 S in oval, CmC monogram, D hammer A in logo (Dansk Arbejde, marketing organisation estbalished in 1908)
