Arno Malinowski was one of the most versatile and successful designers who ever worked for the Georg Jensen Silver smithy. He designed for Georg Jensen from 1936 to 1944, and again from 1949 to 1965. Most Jensen lovers are familiar with his Art Deco stylised animal broochs such as the kneeling deer, the two dolphins , the butterflies and the chubby birds. The cockerel brooch (item 502) is rarely seen on the resale market and the necklace version is rarer still.
