After the success of the enamel Marguerite in 1940, Anton Michelsen launched another series, the forget-me-not, designed by Erik Herløv in 1942. This series, which comprised brooches, necklaces, bracelets and earrings, was not as successful as its forerunner and was therefore only produced for a short time. Pieces are thus quite rare..  This lovely brooch comprises  silver gilt forget-me-not flowers filled with pale blue enamel.

Condition:  Excellent, cracks on a couple of the flowers, only visible on magnification, rollover safety clasp

Marks: AM under crown, 925S

Size: 3.8 cm ( 1.4") across
