Here is an exquisite and extremely rare  and early pair of Sterling silver cufflinks by Henry Pilstrup for Georg Jensen. Pilstrup was Georg Jensen's first apprentice when the workshop was established in 1904. He rose to become foreman,created many designs and remained with the company until 1957.  These cufflinks, in the Art Deco style, are similar to, but not identical with no.52, so-called Nautilus. These cufflinks feature a floral decoration at the centre with wavy lines emanating.  The backs are similarly decorated. Will be supplied in a cufflinks box

Condition: Excellent, no visible damage

Marks:  53,  GI within upright oval of dots logo (used 1915 to 1932), Sterling Denmark

Size:  2 cm (0.7") diameter, backs 2.2 cm (0.8") long
