Here is a wonderful antique Skønvirke brooch designed by Georg Jensen himself.  The oblong frame harbours a magnolia blossom. This exquisite design inspired or was inspired by a whole series of flatware designed in 1919 which you can still buy, starting with a coffee spoon at £450.

New Georg Jensen small enamel daisy brooch

Product no.: 2390

Designed in 1940 to celebrate the birth of Princess (now Queen) Margrethe, this was Anton Michelsen's (see profile) most successful creation of the 20th century and that success is being repeated in the 21st century since being re-issued by Georg Jensen. 

The lovely daisy brooch is made of sterling silver guilloche, gilt, and with white enamel. The strong white enamel of the petals contrasts with the gold wash in the centre and which frames the petals. In addition,   The brooch has been made in several sizes, and this example is the smallest.

Here is a fabulous guilloche enamel brooch by the renowned Danish enamellist, Volmer Bahner (see bio).  It is boomerang shaped with a 'squiggly' guilloche pattern underneath the pale blue enamel.

Georg Jensen Malinowski Cockerel Brooch, no 276

Arno Malinowski was one of the most versatile and successful designers who ever worked for the Georg Jensen Silver smithy. He designed for Georg Jensen from 1936 to 1944, and again from 1949 to 1965. Most Jensen lovers are familiar with his Art Deco stylised animal broochs such as the kneeling deer, the two dolphins , the butterflies and the chubby birds. This cockerel is hardly ever seen on the re-sale market.
