Here is an outstanding, dramatic and extremely rare ring from the combined workshop of Anton Michelsen and Royal Copenhagen Porcelain, made after the takeover of Michelsen by Royal Copenhagen in 1968. In order to exploit the design and craft skills of silversmiths and ceramacists, the two groups were encouraged to work together, and this fabulous ring is one of the first products of this collaboration. The ceramicist was Bodil Buch and the silversmith Jens Windfeld Hansen.
Condition: Excellent, no visible damage, a little tarnish at the base of the ring
Marks: AM under crown, 925S, Crown over 3 wavy lines Danmark
Size: it is difficult to be completely accurate with the size, as the inside of the ring is not round, but it should fit the following dinger sizes: UK N, US 7 Eu 53
