Here is a rare treasure from the David-Andersen Stone Series, launched in 1964. It was created by Marianne Berg, who was working for Uni David-Andersen at the time, and who gave it the name 'Marianne's heart'. It consists of a gorgeous oval translucent carnelian  stone  set in Sterling silver at the end of a pole which also forms the integral bale. The carnelian is ioosely framed by an elongated  silver heart.

It is supplied with a robust Danish silver box chain, but would also look good on a neckring.

Condition: Excellent, clean, no visible damage to either the silver or the stone

Marks:  David-Andersen, Norway, Sterling, 925S,  UNI, M.B.

Size;  5.8 CM ( 2.2") long. Chain is 50cm (19.6")

Year: 1964
