Here is an outstanding necklace by the renowned jewellery artist Jacob Hull, who probably produced the most extreme examples of brutalist jewellery in Denmark during the 1970s and 1980s (see bio).

The neckring is in 2 sections, a) a plain wire which hooks into (b) the gold plated front piece. This is hinged below the the fixed pendant which carries the large gold-plated and glass section.   The neckring was a commission for the Danish company Buch and Deichmann and sold through their distributors.

This  and the following 3 pieces were purchased from a collector  who maintained the pieces in pristine condition

Condition: Excellent looks new,  tiny loss of gold on back of neckring

Marks: Jacob Hull, Buch & Deichmann logo, Denmark

Size:   Pendant (2 sections) 9cm (3.5").  The neckring is 38cm (14 ") internal circumference. Weight 145gm

Year:  1970s
