Here is a wonderful creation by Toril Bjorg for the leading Norwegian silversmithy David-Andersen (see bio) in 1977. Bjorg was the second generation of modernist designers to work for David-Andersen and she went on to rival Tone Vigeland in fame with her knitted silver wire pieces. This early piece features a central enamelled oval section which can be flipped to be worn with the plain silver back as the front.
Condition: Excellent, no visible damage, enamel intact
Marks: David-Andersen, Norway, Sterling 925S. Also bears London import marks and C for 1977
Size: Pendant is 2.2" (5.5cm) long, chain is 22" (57cm) long. I can subsitute a shorter chain on request.
